Ok, ok!! I know many of you have been dying to see "the bump" but I gotta say, trying to capture it has been more difficult that I imagined. I mean one day I looked down and surprise surprise, that's not my pooch anymore! I think i've asked Sean a million times "DO YOU SEE IT!!! IS IT ME OR BABY???!!!??!" Haha! He has been a trooper and only rolled his eyes a couple times. It's funny how in some outfits is loud and proud and others not so much. I know I should enjoy this in between stage when I can still wear my jeans (though yoga pants are winning the daily battle). So here is my attempt at a self shot:

So in the midst of presents and baby bumps I got to make a last minute visit to the ER!
I've realized that pregnancy will bring on all kinds of symptoms - some fun and exciting (like the bump, listening to the heartbeat, seeing your lil peanut grow) and then there are the ones you'd love to live without. Sunday was one of those nights. After a great visit with friends I came to the conclusion early that my tummy did not agree with our meal choice (I thought it was a lovely choice!). A few hours later as we sat on the couch and watched "Chopped" (had to throw that in there - LOVE that show) I started having shooting chest pains. Though I actually dealt with this about 5 months ago, this went on WAY longer and was much more intense. After about an hour of being slumped over in pain we decided to get it checked out. Now I knew there was a very good chance it was heartburn (how, I have NO idea because it felt more like a heart attack) but I also knew I couldn't take any chances. If I was in this much distress, I wanted to make sure peanut wasn't.
3 hrs later, blood and urine test - GERD!! Though we were tired (we didn't get home till after 2am) we were thankful that it was only that and nothing else. We did get to hear lil nuggets heartbeat (which is always amazing).
So I can say that at 3 and a half months preggo - we've had bumps pop, nifty gifties, no appetite and a ER trip. It's never dull in the Taggart Household!!!
